Privacy Notice

Last updated 2 August 2026 · HiredSignal

A short statement of what personal data HiredSignal holds about you, why it holds it, how long it keeps it, and the rights you have over it. The full privacy policy contains the detail; this notice is the summary of your rights.

1. Who is responsible

HiredSignal is the controller of the personal data described here. It operates hiredsignal.com, the application behind sign-in, and the MCP server that AI agents connect to on your behalf. Questions and requests go via the support page at /support.

2. Data categories

Account data: your email address and the sign-in records created by the authentication service. Passwords are handled by the sign-in provider and never stored by HiredSignal.

Billing data: a subscription identifier and status from the payment processor. Card numbers never reach HiredSignal.

Content you provide: a CV, saved searches, and jobs you mark. Agent access: tokens issued to agents you authorise, their scope, and the queries they make.

Job listings themselves are publicly posted business records about vacancies, not personal data about you.

3. Purposes

The data is used to run the service you signed up for: to match your CV against listings, to answer agent queries against your account, to bill the plan you chose, and to show you which agents have access so you can revoke them.

It is not sold, not shared with advertisers, and not used to train machine learning models. The public marketing pages load no analytics or tracking scripts.

4. Retention

Content you provide is held until you delete it or close your account. Closing the account removes the account record, stored content and agent tokens. Billing records are kept only as long as tax and accounting law requires.

5. Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you can ask for access to the personal data held about you, for correction of anything inaccurate, for erasure, for restriction of processing, for a portable copy, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests.

Where processing relies on consent you can withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier processing. You can revoke an agent's access without closing your account.

Requests are answered within one month. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office.

6. Contact

To exercise any of these rights, or to ask what data is held about you, use the support page at /support. No proof of identity is asked for beyond what is needed to confirm the request comes from the account holder.
